The gameplay and controls in this third adventure are identical to the previous games in the series. To control Fireboy, use the arrow keys. He is vulnerable to aquatic impediments due to his temperament. He will be extinguished if he comes into contact with pools of water, so avoid these types of traps while managing Fireboy. He can easily pass through the lava lakes. Watergirl is controlled by the WASD keys, and the same logic applies to her. The main difference is that she is immune to pools of water and can easily move across them. The lava lakes, on the other hand, are lethal for her due to her water elemental nature. When she comes into contact with the lava, she will evaporate. You can avoid these pools by jumping over them, but be careful not to undershoot your jumps. To complete a level, you must employ both characters. Crystals can be found on each level. Fireboy and Watergirl can be used to collect fire crystals and water crystals, respectively.
