DESCRIPTION
The popular online word-puzzle game Wordle was the inspiration for the game Lewdle.
The basic idea behind LEWDLE is the same as that behind Wordle. The players get six chances to correctly guess the daily five-letter word that is given. The color of the tiles will change after each guess to indicate how closely it matched the real word, and each guess must be a genuine word in order to be considered.
HOW TO PLAY
As you can see from the example above, if a letter is highlighted in green, it means it is in the word and in the right place.
If a letter is highlighted in yellow, it means that letter is in the word, but it's in the wrong place.
If a letter is highlighted in gray, that means it doesn't appear anywhere in the word.
The popularity of Wordle led to the creation of Sweardle, which uses swear words, and Wordle for two players.
