Avoidle

Avoidle is a game for learning new languages and improving search skills. Play this game if you are interested in learning new languages, appreciate the thrill of racing, and want to beat your own high score.

The objective is to input four five-letter words with as many of the remaining letters as possible, avoiding the red letters at the bottom. Avoid has three principles that must be followed. First, the participant may use non-Avoidle letter combinations up to three times. Second, if a player uses a letter multiple times in the word Avoidle, they must continue to use that letter in subsequent words. If a letter occupies the same position as it does in the word Avoidle, it must occupy the same position in subsequent words. The difficulty lies in expanding one's vocabulary and locating substitute words in a limited amount of time.
